the following is a letter that i sent to my representatives along with several representatives in several other states please pray today that this band is reinstated and abortion funding restrictions are put back into palace where they should be. Pray this is my prayer that Justice would roll like a river that Holy Spirit would open up the eyes of those who are blinded to the truth that life is a life no matter how small that personhood needs to be recognized at all stages of Life and they must have the same freedom and rights inside the womb that we have outside of it. Jesus, I plead your blood over my sin's and the sin's of my nation God end abortion and send revival to america.- band prayer
On Tuesday, July 7th Representatives Todd Tiahrt (R-KS) and Lincoln Davis (D-TN) will propose a bipartisan amendment to the Financial Services Appropriations bill during the House Appropriations Committee markup. The amendment will restore a ban on taxpayer funded abortions in the District of Columbia. The original ban, the Dornan Amendment, was stripped from the Financial Services bill during subcommittee markup.
One thing is clear government funding of abortion does not reduce abortions. The Alan Guttmacher Institute routinely issues reports showing that when public funding is not available 30% fewer women in the covered population have abortions. That means 30% of babies whose mother receives government subsidized health care survive because of abortion funding restrictions.
It is already a great tragedy that the District of Columbia has the highest abortion rate of any other state in the country. Let’s not increase the number of abortions in D.C.
Please support this bipartisan amendment!
I would appreciate a response to my message.
