    How do you know when your dead?

    I know that title looks weird but stick with me for a few min okay.

    Sot the question is how do you know that your dead? Now why would you even want to know the answer to that  lets live and let live right? I was listening to a preacher on God.tv and he said something that really struck me.

    John Bevere (that was the pastor that was speaking ) was telling a story of how he wanted to be closer to God....I know what your thinking " not a pastor they have it altogether, they are as close to God as you can get this side of heaven" Hey you can be as close to God as you want to be he's chasing you when are you going to start running after him. so  Pastor John Bevere told God that he was tired of just saying that he wanted to know God and wanted to be holy he wanted to live his life that way. He cried out to God with all his heart "I want to know you purify me and make me like you" The next two months  were worst  than it had ever been before in his entire like life "I watched more sports center ,ate more food, and read my bible less" so I cried out to God , "why am i so angry why have haven't  you  helped me i said that I wanted to see more of you not more of myself" God replied "you are trying to do this in your own strength and power only I can cleanse you"

    every day for the next several months trials after trials came and attacked him...John goes on to say  that he woke up and went to bed in great pain he was demoted three times @ his job among may other things he was always angry at everyone. One day at work he closed the door and said " God why am I in so much pain ? when will the pain stop? Why can't I get rid of this anger and this pain? you wanna know God said ?  Just like Jesus he answered in a question  "How do you know when your dead?" when the pain does not her anymore,John repled. "Okay so when your dead  the pain will be gone" I am refining you make you pure in every way.

    You see you can't cast out your flesh you must crucify it daily.

    I Know I have been going through a lot of that right now and I have to keep on trusting God keep on believing God that these trials will produce faith in me .I need to keep my heart in the process as I look towards the goal.. My character is being developed even more my faith is being strengthened.. its not always fun or always easy but I must be tested in the fire, I must be cleansed and God must draw out all the thing that are not of him . I must have a hunger for the fire .. the fire of God draws people and when their drawn you must share with them Jesus.

    Look at Peter life before the upper room said that he would be with stay with Jesus to the very end . He (peter) before the  end of that night  he had denied jesus three times not even to soldiers but to servant girls . after the upper room peter had a boldness and with fire there is no fear.!!!

    “So let everyone in Israel know for certain that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, to be both Lord and Messiah!”- acts 2:36

     

    The members of the council were amazed when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, for they could see that they were ordinary men with no special training in the Scriptures. They also recognized them as men who had been with Jesus. -acts 4:13

    The fire of God will expose every area of your life and get rid of every impurity. If you want to keep with the crowd stay away from the fire

     In the thought of him who is at ease there is contempt for misfortune--but it is ready for those whose feet slip. -job 12:5

       

     30-33And why do you think I keep risking my neck in this dangerous work? I look death in the face practically every day I live. Do you think I'd do this if I wasn't convinced of your resurrection and mine as guaranteed by the resurrected Messiah Jesus? Do you think I was just trying to act heroic when I fought the wild beasts at Ephesus, hoping it wouldn't be the end of me? Not on your life! It's resurrection, resurrection, always resurrection, that undergirds what I do and say, the way I live. If there's no resurrection, "We eat, we drink, the next day we die," and that's all there is to it. But don't fool yourselves. Don't let yourselves be poisoned by this anti-resurrection loose talk. "Bad company ruins good manners." -1 corinthians 15:30

    The Story of the Virgins

     1-5 "God's kingdom is like ten young virgins who took oil lamps and went out to greet the bridegroom. Five were silly and five were smart. The silly virgins took lamps, but no extra oil. The smart virgins took jars of oil to feed their lamps. The bridegroom didn't show up when they expected him, and they all fell asleep.

     6"In the middle of the night someone yelled out, 'He's here! The bridegroom's here! Go out and greet him!'

     7-8"The ten virgins got up and got their lamps ready. The silly virgins said to the smart ones, 'Our lamps are going out; lend us some of your oil.'

     9"They answered, 'There might not be enough to go around; go buy your own.'

     10"They did, but while they were out buying oil, the bridegroom arrived. When everyone who was there to greet him had gone into the wedding feast, the door was locked.

    11"Much later, the other virgins, the silly ones, showed up and knocked on the door, saying, 'Master, we're here. Let us in.'

     12"He answered, 'Do I know you? I don't think I know you.'

     13"So stay alert. You have no idea when he might arrive.

    -Matthew 25:1-15 (The Message)

    the fire will keep you strong till the end. The 10  Virgins represent the church the five that were not ready were not feeding there fire stayin in tune with the spirit of God. The just give what they think is required to be saved, but the  wise give all they have surrendering their entire lives to buy oil. compete abounded to the Lord. you can not hold on to your life you have to give it up to gain "you have to give up to go up" 

    45-46"Or, God's kingdom is like a jewel merchant on the hunt for excellent pearls. Finding one that is flawless, he immediately sells everything and buys it. -MATTHEW 13:45 (THE MESSAGE)


    we have been more sacrifice movaited than obedience moviated.... think about that...!!! Have you given everything so that you can obey.

    So how do you know when your dead?

    Fire is a rapid mix of oxygen and fuel and heat

    rapid combnation of the Holy Spirit coupled with the fire of God- fire
